Swiss Days

We are off to Midway for our annual trip for Swiss days. I'm so excited. I love looking at all the booths. Of all the art shows Willie does, this is my favorite. I guess it's all the girly home stuff they have for sale. The kids love swimming at the hotel pool and missing school! If your not doing anything this weekend, drive on up to Midway and see us! (those of you who are close anyway).

Oh and here is a card I made yesterday!

Willie's motorcycle trip

I thought I would up date Willie's 10 day cross country trip.

Here is the hole gang ready to hit the road. From left to right: his brother Richard, his sister Tiffany, other brother Treavor, Willie, and his dad Floyd.
Here is Willie in the Canadian rockies.
This is my favorite picture, Bank-Bar, those come in handy!
Here is a self portrait, pretty stylin i know.
I think this is one of the hotels they stayed in. Almost a new hotel every night.
Here they are in Jackson where they spent the first night. It happened to be July fourth, so they watched the fireworks from the hotel. All in all they had a great time. Willie did have some of his stuff stolen, but thankfully none of his professional camera equipment was taken. Just the none important stuff like, cash, credit cards, helmet, boots, jacket, chaps, granola, ya know the stuff you can live without! (not). Thank goodness for homeowners insurance.

Jackson Hole

During July, willie and I went to Jackson to do an art show. He usually goes by himself, but this year I committed to helping him do some of his shows. It was a nice break from the kids, but let me tell you, his shows are a lot of work. I was initially so excited to go "shopping the outlets" and was so disappointed that they no longer have "outlet " shopping in Jackson. Just your typical tourist way over priced same old stuff kinda stores. I guess i saved money for swiss days coming up! We had fun none the less.
Here is WIllie at his booth in the park. We had a nice spot with some shade and we got lots of people watching in.
We hiked down to a little spot where the river passes with the Tetons in the background. Willie got some great pictures one of the mornings we were there.
We saw another group and had them take a picture of the two of us. There were so many mosquito's you would die. I zipped up as far as I could.
We went to Mormon Row, which from what I read, is just a famous strip of barns, and a few houses in which the mormon pioneers built after coming across the plains. Some of them originally settled in Jackson.
It was pretty cool to see, they have been preserved really well.

Here is one of the old houses.
This is one of the more famous of the barns,  Photographed by many famous photographers.
This is willie's shot and was one of the most popular photo's at his show.

Happy 40th to my sweetie!

Today is Willie's 40th Birthday, crazy i know. And that means i'm not far behind, even crazier. But to his credit, he still has the body of an 18 year old, except for a few gray hairs.
